Unaffected by Recent European Union Air Safety Committee Ban
Air Astana would like to clarify that under the terms of the recent ban imposed by the European Union Air Safety Committee on all airlines from Kazakhstan, Air Astana has been given an exemption on account of its safety record and procedures, and the fact that it is partially regulated by foreign aviation authorities separate from the Civil Aviation Committee of Kazakhstan.
