Air Astana has set up measures to help passengers
travelling to Thailand with free rebooking, or cancellations for anyone
booked to travel until end of September. To cancel a booking or to
change the date of departure on the route Almaty-Bangkok-Almaty,
passengers now can apply to the place of purchase of the ticket, where
they will be provided with all possible assistance.
In order to rebook or cancel your flights free of charge for travel
until 30th Sept, passengers are required to provide a written request
and the original ticket.
This decision was taken to support compatriots and foreign citizens
affected by the fears of visiting during the interim difficulties in the
social and political situation in Thailand. The Thai Government is
taking all measures to resolve the situation and assured in the absence
of a direct threat to tourists, but at the same time recommends to be
careful and avoid places of large gatherings. We hope that our
passengers, will soon be able to travel without any further fear and
enjoy their planned holidays.
Ashendra Liyanage, Vice President of Sales and Marketing Air Astana JSC:
" Air Astana referring to the events in Thailand is doing everything
possible to help passengers plan their journeys, by offering free of
charge cancellations and rebookings. It should be noted that the Bangkok
airport is working normally and flights are carried out as scheduled”.
If the tickets are planned for October and later, tickets will be accepted under the rules of fare.
