The 2010 Air Astana Open Billiard Tournament, organised by Air Astana, took place at Bastau Billiard Club on November 13. Representatives of the Kazakh media, divided into 28 teams, participated in the tournament. The tournament was organised to promote billiard sports in Kazakhstan.

The National carrier of Kazakhstan announces changes to regular flights to UAE
As of 31 October 2010 Air Astana will start serving the United Arab Emirates with flights to Abu Dhabi, the capital of the country instead of Dubai. The flights to Abu Dhabi will be operated on daily basis from Almaty and four times a week from Astana by Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft at the same times previously announced for departures to and from Dubai.
