1. Q: How can I purchase a ticket through your website?
A: You can buy at online on our website on the home page www.airastana.com
2. Q: How soon do I need to pay for my ticket, when making an online booking?
A: You will need to pay your ticket immediately, using a valid credit card. i.e. reserving a booking is not allowed.
3. Q: What methods of payment can I use to purchase my Air Astana ticket?
A: For the following currencies EUR, GBP, AED, INR, THB, CNY and KRW you can only pay by Credit Card: Visa (except of Visa Electron) or MasterCard from any bank. For KZT currency you can pay by any Visa, MasterCard and American Express plus the Maestro, Cirrus debit cards of Kazkommertsbank holders only.

A: You can either send a message to Air Astana, by sending an email to online_booking@airastana.com , or using the “About Air Astana/Contact Us” section of this website and your query will be answered by one of our agents.
5. Q. If I book online, how soon will I receive a ticket?
A: You will receive e-ticket which will be sent via email at the booking. When you receive the ticket via e-mail, simply print it off and present it during check-in.
6. Q: Can a ticket, which was paid online, be refunded?
A: Refunds depend on the fare condition of your booking. To find it you are eligible for a refund, simply please send an e-mail to online_booking@airastana.com
7. Q: Is it possible to order a special type of meal and seat?
A: Air Astana is very pleased that it is able to offer special meals to suit special dietary needs. You may request a special meal at the time of buying your ticket on step 4 during booking. Special meals must be requested no later than 24 hours prior to the scheduled departure time of your flight.
8. Q: Is it possible to book online a child on Air Astana flights without being accompanied?
A: Its impossible to book online unaccompanied child, they should be booked with adult.
9. Q: Is it possible to change the date of flight?
A: This depends on the ticket rules chosen. You can either send a message to Air Astana, by sending an email to online_booking@airastana.com , or using the
“About Air Astana/Contact Us” section of this website and your query will be answered by one of our agents.
10. Q: Whether the person paying for the tickets must to be one of the people traveling?
A: Credit card holder could be different, but please be advised that card holder will be responsible for all transactions made while online purchase.
11. Q: What is the age of child acceptance by system?
A: According to the rules of our company, for international routes child from 2 to 11years, for domestic routes from 2 – 12 years accepted.
12. Q: When I can purchase a ticket?
A: You are allowed to purchase a ticket one hour before departure on the website www.airastana.com and you have a maximum of 20 minutes to complete your transaction.
13. Q: Can I choose my own seat?
A: You can choose your own seat 48 hours before departure as part of the booking process in Step 4 by ticking on Additional options or by sending a request to online_booking@airastana.com.
