All tickets which were purchased online at www.airastana.com website from 01 June to 31 August 2009 and used till 10 October 2009 (inclusive) will be automatically entered into a draw. The draw will be held within two weeks after 10 October 2009. The results will be published on the website. The winners will be contacted by Air Astana.
Any person who books and pays online on the www.airastana.com web site from 01 June to 31 August 2009 for any Air Astana flight and completes travel by 10 October 2009, will automatically be entered into a draw with a chance to win two business class tickets to any Air Astana destination worldwide plus other prizes.
The following Terms and Conditions shall apply:
1. This competition has been organized by Air Astana.
2. The competition will run from 01 June to 31 August 2009.
3. The competition is open to all individuals, with the exception of employees of Air Astana.
4. In order to be eligible to enter the draw, you must book and pay online (by credit or debit card) for an Air Astana ticket and complete travel before 10 October 2009.
5. The prizes for the competition are as follows:
• Main prize – two (2) business class tickets to any Air Astana destination worldwide;
• Second prize – two (2) economy class tickets to any Air Astana destination worldwide;
• Third prize – two (2) economy class tickets to any Air Astana domestic destination.
6. To be eligible to receive the main prize a winner must show his/her passport/identification card together with a copy of Electronic Ticket and Boarding Pass, or proof that they have completed the booked journey.
7. The method of draw for the each prize shall be by random selection of Electronic Ticket number, at the premises of the Air Astana office in Almaty under supervision of its lawyers, after the 15 October 2009. The date of the drawing will be published on the website additionally.
8. The winners will be notified via phone within a week after the day of drawing. The results of drawing will be published on the website.
9. The presentation of the prize will be taken place in Almaty no longer than 30 days after the drawing. The prize tickets must be used within one year from the date of issuance. The winner must book his/her tickets 30 days prior to departure.
10. Air Astana shall not bear any responsibility in case the winner has no opportunity to take the advantage of the given prize due to absence or inability to furnish required documents to Air Astana (eg: the passport/identification card) nor for changes in the current law effecting the execution of duties on prize delivery by Air Astana. In this case, the prize will be considered as unclaimed and Air Astana has the right to dispose of such prize at own discretion.
In case a winner is under age of 18, the prize will be given to one of the parents.
11. The replacement of prizes with money is not permitted.
12. The winner has the right to refuse the prize. Such refusal should be directed to the offices of Air Astana in written form not later than five (5) calendar days from the moment he/she has been informed about his entitlement for the prize.
13. All winners hereby agree to grant an advertising interview about their participation in the competition, including if necessary radio, TV, and other mass media, or to be photographed for manufacturing graphic materials without payment of any rewards. All copyrights of such interviews and graphic materials shall remain as the property of Air Astana.
14. Air Astana reserves the right to prolong the competition, to change procedure of awarding the prizes and to publish additional information about the competition and the order of organizing it.
15. Air Astana incurs duties on payment of all obligatory taxes to the prizes, stipulated by the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
16. The competition shall be run according to the stated rules. In case of any dispute, the decision of Air Astana is considered as final and no further communication shall be entered into.
