When booking 36 hours prior to departure, travellers have the option to purchase additional MyBAGGAGE luggage at a 30% discount.

Book MyBAGGAGE 36 hours before your flight with a 30% discountPre-paid baggage cannot be used on interline or codeshare flights, nor transferred to other passengers. It is not eligible for purchase with TDCs, gift cards, vouchers, or Nomad Club points. You may add up to 10 extra pieces to your booking.
Requests made less than 36 hours before departure will be charged at standard airport rates. Baggage over 32kg is not accepted; please contact Air Astana Cargo for such cases.
For routes with transfers:
- Within 36 hours – extra baggage applies to the entire journey
- Over 36 hours – charges apply per flight segment
- Separate tickets – rates follow each individual ticket
Departures from Delhi incur an additional tax.
For oversized baggage (over 158 cm in total dimensions) from Dubai, check-in must be at the OOG counter with a AED 45 fee charged by DNATA. This fee doesn't apply to pet transport.
On codeshare or multi-carrier routes, additional baggage rates follow the rules of the operating or dominant carrier. Always provide accurate details when booking.
