For flights involving transfers within 36 hours, an additional baggage charge is applied for the entire route. For flights with stopovers exceeding 36 hours, the charge applies per flight segment. In cases of separate tickets for each leg of the journey, charges follow the rates specified in each ticket. Please note that all departures from Delhi are subject to an extra tax charge. 

This pre-paid additional baggage service is applicable exclusively for flights operated by Air Astana, and its rates apply to one-way trips (outbound or return) to the stopover or final destination. The pre-paid additional baggage allowance cannot be transferred to other passengers and must be used in conjunction with the relevant ticket. The Rules of Air Carriage of Passengers and Baggage by Air Astana are an integral part of these conditions, and it is essential to provide accurate information when making reservations and booking pre-paid additional baggage. Please note that pre-paid additional baggage cannot be purchased using Travel Discount Certificates (TDC), gift cards, vouchers, or Nomad Club points. You can pre-pay for up to 10 pieces of additional baggage. 

Published rates for additional baggage apply only to flights operated by Air Astana. However, on codeshare flights, additional baggage rates adhere to the rules of the operating carrier. For routes operated by multiple carriers, including codeshare flights, the rates specified by the most significant carrier are applicable. 

Oversized baggage (defined as a bag with a total sum of three dimensions exceeding 158 cm) departing from Dubai Airport, UAE, will only be accepted at the designated OOG (Out of Gauge) check-in counter. An additional charge of AED 45 will apply, with payment processed by the DNATA Ground Handling Company. Please note that this fee does not apply to the pet carriage service in the baggage compartment.
