Family is an important part of Kazakh culture, and our service aims to reflect this in every way. We are very attentive to our smaller passengers and we do everything possible to ensure our infants and children feel safe, comfortable and entertained throughout the flight.

Passengers travelling with babies are provided baby-packs containing all the essentials for hygiene and comfort. On selected flights, it is possible to pre-book bassinets (cradles) for babies of one year and younger.

While adults enjoy world-class cuisine, our little travellers may tuck into deliciously nourishing meals from our specially designed children’s menu (needs to be pre-booked to ensure availability).

While developing children’s kits, Air Astana's main objective was to provide our little guests with something fun and educational but also a memorable gift they could use after the flight. The kits are offered to our young passengers on outbound international flights from Kazakhstan over 3 hours long.

Every concept corresponds with a specific character and they come in two ranges: For 3 to 6 year olds: Amazing Astronaut, Best Actor and Magnificent Magician and for 7 to 11 year olds: Famous Photographer, Expert Scientist and Super Skater.

Our new children’s kits allow our little travelers to dream and use their imaginations. It gives them an opportunity to pretend to be someone or something extraordinary that reflects their creativity and personality. Their dreams and aspirations can be realized onboard and in turn help to make your children’s journey with Air Astana even more fun and memorable!
